Self-pay therapy offers the freedom to focus on your goals—not insurance requirements. Together, we can address emotional wellness, relationships, leadership challenges, life transitions, personal growth, and resilience in a way that is customized to your needs while maintaining a higher level of privacy and flexibility.

II. INSURANCE AND REIMBURSEMENT

At this time, Marva C Williams is not in-network with any insurance providers.

Clients who choose to seek reimbursement from their insurance company may be provided with a superbill or invoice upon request. It is the Client’s responsibility to submit documentation to their insurance provider and to understand their individual out-of-network benefits.

I. FEES FOR SERVICES

​

The following fees apply to services provided:

  • Initial 15-minute Consultation: $50

  • 90791 (Initial Intake Diagnostic Evaluation): $275

  • 90837 (60-minute Individual Therapy Session): $175

  • 90834 (45-minute Individual Therapy Session): $125

  • 90832 (30-minute Individual Therapy Session): $85

  • 90847 (60-minute Couples/Family Therapy with Client Present): $250

  • 90846 (Family Therapy without Client Present): $175

  • 90853 (90 minute Group Therapy Session): $70+

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

III. CANCELLATION AND MISSED APPOINTMENTS

​

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a $100 late cancellation fee

  • Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice (no-show) will also result in a $100 fee

Late cancellations and no-show fees are not typically reimbursable by insurance.

Repeated missed or late-cancelled appointments may result in a review of continued services and could lead to termination of the therapeutic relationship at the discretion of the therapist.

 

IV. LATE ARRIVALS

Clients are expected to arrive on time for scheduled sessions. If a client arrives late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time and the full session fee will apply.

 

V. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

By initiating services, the Client acknowledges and agrees that they are financially responsible for all fees associated with services rendered, including late cancellation and no-show fees.
